Something to think about:
Certainly we can see that our leaders cannot figure out how to even get along, let alone how to solve our problems.
We need God in our lives and government. Lord do what only You can do!! We need you!! God bless America!!
What does God want from us?
And to know Him. When we know Him, we will love Him. When we love Him, we will walk with Him. He wants a family. A real family. no longer servants but children. He wants to be loved. same as us, we want to be loved. And we are.
For His kindgom to come. For His will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, Let us be a part of Your Kingdom on earth.
Ephesians 3:16-19 I bow my knees before the Father, that He
would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with
power, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you,
being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints
what is the width and length and height and depth of love, and to know the
love of Christ which surpasses all knowledge, that you may be filled with
all the fullness of God.

Valentines Day is approaching
I read a poem once that talked about Jesus coming to die. True enough, but that is true of all of us. What is different from us is that for all of time Jesus knew he would have to come to redo what he once did when He created earth. He would have to make a way for us be with Him forever. And He wanted us to live well while on earth.
He knew those He came to save would be the ones that killed Him, and in a very cruel manner. I wonder how He felt about saving the ones that were so cruel to him? Did he ever think they (we) weren't worth it? He answers that well in the following paraphrased edition:
8 "Oh, how can I give you up, Israel? How can I let you go? How can I destroy you like Admah and Zeboiim? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows. 9 No, I will not punish you as much as my burning anger tells me to. I will not completely destroy Israel, for I am God and not a mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy. 10 "For someday the people will follow the LORD. I will roar like a lion, and my people will return trembling from the west. 11 Like a flock of birds, they will come from Egypt. Flying like doves, they will return from Assyria. And I will bring them home again," says the LORD.
He loves us. He can't help Himself, He IS Love. Christmas is the evidence that Jesus came and undid everything we humans caused. Thank you Jesus for coming!!
the people for over 30 years through ministry and counseling.
